ABERDEEN, Md. – Making his first appearance in a professional game since June 14, 2024 when he pitched for the Orioles against Philadelphia, O’s right-hander Kyle Bradish was on the mound last night for High-A Aberdeen. He was beginning a rehab assignement designed to get him back to the Orioles.

He took the mound 13 months and five days after the pitcher that finished fourth for the 2023 AL Cy Young Award, had Tommy John surgery.

Reports of his progress were positive in recent weeks and Bradish’s fastball touched 96 and 97 mph in his two-inning IronBirds’ stint.
