Agree with you Steve that Albernaz is already a positive. Boras isn’t afraid to wait for his clients to get the last possible dollar and the fact Alonso signed now I consider a plus in the manager’s favor. I also prefer Suarez over Valdez. We’ll see what other magic Elias has up his sleeve. 101 days until Opening Day. Go Os.
Steve, do you think that Boris will now look more closely at us to extend the boys. I really want to see Gunner, Holliday and Westy as life long Orioles. Great video today. Keep up the great work. Go Birds.
Maybe but his relationship in recent yrs has been good with the club. More than what Boras thinks it will be what the players think and, per usual, the money will talk most.
Suarez Valdes Gallen King get one of those and then make a trade for Cabrera or maybe one of the many arms the Pirates could afford to trade. I don't see how Mayo really fits in as we have Pete for five years and Basallo for 8. That should take care of first base not to mention Mountcastle this season. I am a big fan of Coby but it will be hard to squeeze him in any playing time and he does not need any more time in AAA
Good points on Valdez/Suarez. But I wouldn't be surprised if Mike Elias is able to pull off a trade for a Peralta and some additional prospects to add to the minors depth, especially if he has to surrender some minor talent.
