Scott Blewett and Ramon Urias were the heroes, just as we figured!

Dang fine win Birdland.

Yankees were 12-3 in Fried's starts. He had allowed 2 ER or less in 14 of 15 games.

O's did not start Gunnar, Adley, Ced and Cowser.

And they won. In the Bronx.

And they beat one of the best starters in baseball when our guy didn’t even get through 4

Westy wow! They might even think about keeping this guy in for the ninth. Blewett just did the opposite!

The rest of the bullpen could really use it.

We've seen Judge catch a ball like that so much, I was pretty sure he would get that one. Nope!

Steve, honest question as I don’t know enough about possible callups: With your knowledge of the minors…is there anyone else to be called up to fill in a SS? Or is Vasquez, all of 1 hit ever in MLB, being given extra time? He seems a decent fielder but rather light hitting.

Not really. He was brought here for his defense.

We do have 3 other guys on the roster who can play short.

Fried is at 88 pitches thru 5. His season most is 106 and he has thrown 100 or more in 6 of his 15 starts.

O's say ----

OF Dylan Beavers was removed from the Triple-A Norfolk game with a left shoulder injury after colliding with another player in the outfield.
